This urban studio needed their space to be as flexible and fun as the yoga students who practice in it.
YogaButtons is Vancouver’s first kids and family yoga facility. As a small studio, they needed to maximize use of space. It was also important to accommodate students of all ages and sizes, take advantage of natural light during the day and offer privacy for evening adult classes.
Aesthetically, the studio is simple and modern, but also open and playful. All components within the space are movable. This includes the ornate screens that provide privacy from the street, as well as the front desk. When required, the screens and check-in desk slide away and the studio can maximize space for larger classes or events.
In 2013 YogaButtons was named New Business of the Year by the Kitsilano Chamber of Commerce.
